The Gathering

A Day of Yoga, Movement, Sound Healing & Community

In a world that often feels rushed, disconnected, and focused on performance, The Gathering is an invitation to slow down and return to what matters most: connection, community, and the practice of being fully present. The Gathering is a one-day experience for anyone seeking a deeper relationship with yoga, themselves, and their community.

Join Jen Fisher, Karley St. Pierre and Lori Osborne for this first of many gatherings in Raleigh.

Jen Fisher, E-RYT 500, RCYT, YACEP has been teaching yoga for more than 16 years and leading transformational retreats around the world since 2011. Known for her soulful flows, calming presence, inspiring playlists, and ability to build authentic community, Jen weaves movement, meditation, breathwork, and philosophy into experiences that help students reconnect with themselves and one another. Based in Raleigh, she believes yoga is a lifelong practice that meets us exactly where we are and evolves alongside us through every season of life.

Karley St. Pierre is an E-RYT 200 from Raleigh, North Carolina. A cosmic-comedienne, Karley finds her true purpose in creating connection and joy through movement. If laughter is the best medicine, then cracking jokes in down-dog is her prescription. Yet, she brings a grounded, authentic stewardship to her students. She has guided yoga, breath, sound and meditation for years while weaving in humor, humility and compassion into her offerings. At the heart of Karley's work is the deep, vulnerable sharing of her own humanity: to see and be seen by others, always welcome, exactly as we are.

As a lifelong spiritual seeker and wellness enthusiast, Lori’s love for artistic expression through movement and sound began at an early age. Lori is the creator of Shanti Shala Wellness - a home for peace through sound and restorative modalities. She is a Sound Healer, Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT500), Meditation Teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, Medium Intuitive, and Spiritual Mentor

Throughout the day, we will move together through a thoughtfully curated journey of soulful vinyasa, meditation, embodied movement, sound healing, yoga nidra, and meaningful conversation. Rather than choosing between multiple classes or rushing from one experience to the next, participants will share a collective experience, creating space for authentic connection and community.

The day will begin with tea, conversation, and an opening meditation before settling into a soulful flow practice. We'll gather for a community yoga circle where participants can explore questions about practice, spirituality, wellness, and navigating life's many seasons. After a shared lunch and time to connect, the afternoon will invite deeper rest through yoga nidra, joyful expression through dance and embodied movement, and the healing vibrations of sound. We'll close the day together in circle, honoring the connections made and the intention to continue building a more connected yoga community in Raleigh.

In addition to the scheduled offerings, guests will have time to explore local wellness vendors, explore the book exchange (bring a book in the wellness arena and go home with a new one), relax in designated connection spaces, and meet others who share a desire for a more intentional and inclusive approach to yoga and well-being.

This is not a festival. It is not a conference. It is a gathering. A space to practice, to connect, to listen, to learn, and to remember that yoga has always been about community.

The Art of Hosting a Yoga Retreat

The Mistakes, Lessons, and Wisdom Behind 30+ Retreats Worldwide

A live 2-hour workshop for yoga teachers, wellness leaders, and anyone dreaming of creating retreats that are transformational, professionally run, and financially sustainable.

$45 • Live on Zoom • Replay Included for 7 Days

Have you dreamed of leading your own retreat…

…but feel overwhelmed by where to begin?

How do you choose the right venue? What do you charge? How do you fill the rooms? What happens when things go sideways? How do you create an experience people actually want to come back for? How to host a yoga retreat?

After 15+ years of teaching yoga and leading more than 30 retreats in places like Tulum, the Dominican Republic, Sedona, the mountains and coast of North Carolina, and the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, I’ve learned that hosting a successful retreat takes far more than a beautiful destination and a dream.

What does it take to host a yoga retreat?

It takes leadership. Strategy. Boundaries. Hospitality. Marketing. Pricing confidence. And the ability to learn from your mistakes.

In this workshop, I’ll share the real lessons, costly mistakes, behind-the-scenes strategies, and wisdom I’ve gained over 30+ retreats—so you don’t have to learn everything the hard way.

Why Learn from Me?

I’m not teaching theory. I’m teaching what I’ve lived.

  • 16+ years teaching yoga

  • 30+ retreats led across the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe

  • 20+ students have attended 5 or more retreats with me

  • Students regularly find me from across the country through Jen Fisher Yoga + Retreats, Instagram, and word of mouth

  • Background in both yoga education and hospitality

  • Limitless wisdom from mistakes made and problems solved throughout the yeara

In This 2-Hour Workshop, You'll Learn:

  • Your Vision Meets Your Reality - Is retreat leadership actually right for you? What nobody tells you about the emotional and energetic side of hosting.

  • The Business Behind the Magic - Venues, contracts, pricing, deposits, hidden costs, room configurations, and protecting your profit.

  • Filling the Retreat - How to attract students without a massive following. Email marketing, social media, website traffic, repeat clients, and referrals.

  • Creating the Experience - Themes, community, group dynamics, boundaries, hospitality, and creating retreats people come back for again and again.

  • Live Q&A - Bring your questions. We will end up covering so much more!
